Murder in Pont Aven

Suzanne Saroc, a painter, was burnt alive in her workshop twenty years ago. The story of this accident is about to resurface with two new homicides in the region, those of two gallery owners. These crimes are linked to Suzanne's death, and may well turn out to be murder.

The investigation into the deaths of the gallery owners is led by Marion, Suzanne's daughter, who lived through her mother's disappearance as a child, and by Antoine Le Mezec, who was in charge of the investigations at the time. This was his first investigation.

Could he have missed something crucial? Did he deliberately conceal it? What is the link between all these cases?
What is Sébastien, Marion's father and forensic doctor, also in charge of the investigation into the deaths of the two gallery owners and Suzanne Saroc's husband, hiding? His love for Suzanne has remained undiminished all these years, and deep down he has always thought he was lied to.
How far will he go to uncover the truth?
