Synopsis
|
Emma and Adrien were supposed to get together for a romantic getaway.
But Adrien is called out on a murder case: a young recruit found hanged in the Gendarmerie school.
The timing is bad, very bad, because Emma is having a jealousy attack over Adrien's new colleague, and Françoise's (Emma's mother) partner Bernard has disappeared, and she is convinced that he has another woman or that something serious has happened to him.
The DA, taking advantage of the fact that Emma seems to be very available, asks her to help shed light on the murder. Within the gendarmerie school, it's a "mess".
The trail of the crime cuts across the secret relationships within the school and upsets our two investigators, who are constantly at loggerheads. Adrien is overwhelmed by Emma's reproaches, Emma is overwhelmed by an unexpected event: she is pregnant, Emma is overwhelmed by her mother's concern as she continues to look for Bernard, who is himself overwhelmed by surprising news and a serious decision that he prefers to take alone....
Love, jealousy and betrayal are at the heart of the investigation, revealing that love can cause tragedy, but it can also bring great happiness.
