| Synopsis | In December 2018, 20-year-old Sanda Dia died in the emergency room of a hospital in Leuven (Belgium) as a result of a student hazing incident that went wrong. His relatives refuse to accept the accident explanation "They tortured him for 48 hours and left him to die like a dog", his father said. Did Sanda died because he was of mixed race and from a lower-class origin ? Today, Sanda's parents and friends demands justice. A first trial was cut short and none of the students were prosecuted. The university officials of the KUL (Catholic University of Leuven), which trains the country's elites and gilded youth, have also emerged unscathed from this tragedy. And yet, the course of events resembles a slow killing... |
